Scan Registry For Errors
Registry Washer safely search inside your Windows registry for errors, repair them with just a simple few mouse clicks.
A. Scanning Windows Registry
To start scanning your Windows registry, first select the sections you want to scan by checking the boxes on the section list that correspond to the various sections of the Windows registry. By default Registry Washer will scan all sections, so you can keep all selections or un-select sections you need to exclude from the scan process.
To start scanning, click on the "Start Scan" button as shown below.

Once you click "Start Scan", Registry Washer will start scanning through each of the selected sections of the Windows registry. As Registry Washer scans your system, you will be able to see counters for errors found under each section, current path Registry Washer is searching inside and a progress bar showing the scan process progress, so that you can have an indication of how far Registry Washer has progressed through its scan.
Please note that the time taken to progress through a scan depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to:
A. The number of sections you have selected.
B. The amount of problems found in your Registry.
C. Your system speed.
D. Any third party software running in the background, such as virus protection, spyware protection applications .
You can stop the scanning process at any time by clicking on the "Stop" button, once you click on the "Stop" button Registry Washer will cancel its current scan process and go back to the main Scan Registry wizard screen.
Once Registry Washer has finished scanning your system, you will be able to see the "Scan Results" screen as shown below. Through this screen you can view all problems found, select to either keep or permanently remove this error from your system.

By default all errors are checked for deletion. So if you would like to exclude any entry from being deleted, then please un-check the box next to the error number.
Once you have reviewed scan errors and ready to fix them, please click on "Fix Errors" so that Registry Washer can start fixing all selected errors.
