Advanced Settings
Please use this settings only if support staff requires you to change anything to solve/test any issue.
These settings may affect the performance and reliability of our software.
Default Scan Mode

You may define your favorite Scan Method when you hit the Enter key at Preset's name in Scan Parameters:
- Default mode is Scan
- Default mode is Synchronize
Lock duplicate's scroll
When this option is selected (a check mark or a box around icon will show it's checked), if you click on any file you'll see the other's side file if still available (if you didn't deleted it).
Disable sort
The default setting is Disable sort. When Comparator Fast searches for files, it'll add any matched file found in the order it was found. This is the fastest way.
Please note: if you choose to not disable sort, files will be sorted and this can significantly slow the process. If you need the results to be sorted, we suggest you search with Disable sort enabled, and when search is done, you can disable this option. When is unchecked, the sort process begins, and you may wait for a while, but is faster than searching files with this options disabled before the scan. This note is for users who scan a lot of files (thousands).
Enable timers and log counters
When this option is enabled, you'll see the Led's counters progress on every file found. This takes a few more seconds on very long scans (thousands of files), you may disable it if you want max speed.
Enable sounds
When this options is checked, default sounds will be played.
Example: when a scan is finished, you'll get notified also by a special sound. You may disable it.
Advanced users:
The sound archive to be played is a WAVE file named "Notify.wav". If you want to change it, you may copy any other valid WAVE file to Comparator Fast installation directory and name that new file as "Notify.wav".
Horizontal View of Results
Check this option if you want to view the results lists in "horizontal mode" instead of default "vertical mode". You may switch view mode faster with Ctrl+F2 keys.
When using "Horizontal View", the Source ("From") side will be the list on top, and the Target ("To") side will be the list on bottom.
If the minimum space to show a result's list is not enough, automatic adjustments will proceed.

Set Default Settings
This option allows you to reset Comparator Fast settings to default. Unless you have a Backup of your settings, you cannot recover your previous ones.
