Setup Naming Template

By default, PictureImp saves images under their original names. But you can set up your own naming template and it will re-name images according to the mask.

To set up a naming template, open the ‘Options’ dialog, click the ‘Naming Rules’ button, and in the dialog that opens, select ‘Use template’ option. Now you can set up a file name mask using the following parameters: <source>, <site.url>, <site url>, <i>, <ii>, <iii>, <iiii>, <yyyy>, <yy>, <mm>, <dd>, <h>, <m>, <s>. Then, you can set the names and file extensions to be converted to lower case or upper case. And finally you can specify the action if the file already exists, which can be overwriting the file or adding a number by mask <i> to its name.
