Color
Equalize - Executes Equalize preview dialog.Smoothes out the image or selection's histogram. The result is a tempering or averaging of the image or selection's brightness.
Auto Equalize - Equalizes colors histogram of the current selection.
Contrast - You use the Brightness/Contrast Function to brighten or darken an entire image, or to increase or decrease the range of luminance (contrast) within an image. In other words, the Brightness Setting shifts the entire histogram, and the Contrast Setting stretches or compresses it. Contrast: positive change flattens histogram, producing wider range of luminance. Negative change tightens histogram, producing narrower range of luminance. Brightness: shifts entire histogram in the direction of change. Positive 100% turns image or selection pure white. Negative 100% turns image or selection pure black.
RGB - Change the levels of red, green, and blue in an image. Computer monitors create colors by combining red, green, and blue, which are the three primary colors for projected light.
Hue/Saturation/Value - Changes Hue, Saturation and Value of the current selection.
Hue/Saturation/Luminosity - A color can be described by the three components of hue, saturation, and luminance. Hue describes the color's shade or tint, saturation describes the hue's purity, and luminance describes the color's brightness. You can use the Hue/Saturation/Luminance Function to modify these three components for the entire image.
Split Channel To RGB (HSV) - This command obtains a bitmap with the RGB (HSV) specified channel. The result bitmap is a gray levels representation of specified channel.
Mode (Black and White) - Converts the image to black-and-white with an adjustable threshold.
Mode (Gray) - Converts current image (selection) to gray levels.
Mode (RGB Color) - Converts current image (selection) to true color.
Negative Image - Invert all color of the current image (selection). |
