This section explains how to using Wizards.

• Add new check wizard
  This article explains how you can use Add new check wizard. The Add New Checks wizard is used for adding several checks of one type with the same settings at a time.

Add New Checks wizard

General information
The Add New Checks wizard is used to add several checks of one type with the same settings at a time.

Invocation
This wizard can be invoked by using tab Wizards at Network Eagle Bar or by using Wizards menu in the main application menu.

Description

Step 1:
At this step you should select the computers for which you want to create a check and specify the group names. After you start the wizard, in its first window you will see the list of groups corresponding to all found domains and working groups.

If you want to select all computer in a domain, select the necessary group. In case you want to select a part of computers in a domain, select the group corresponding to this domain and click the "Browse..." button, in the new window select the necessary computers and click the "OK" button. This group will be marked as shaded.

It is also possible to load a list of computers from a CSV (comma separated values) file. To load CSV file, click the "Load File" button, select the necessary file in the "Open" window and click "OK". This opens a dialog window with a table of values loaded from the file. By clicking table header, you can activate one or another column. By checking checkboxes for rows, you define values will be selected. Once the necessary values selected, close the window by clicking the "OK" button. A new group will appear in the wizard window with the name of the loaded file. It can be renamed.

Add New Alerts wizard

The "Add New Alerts" wizard is used for adding several alerts to many checks.

Change Properties Wizard

The Change Properties wizard is used for changing properties of several checks or alerts at a time.

Invocation

This wizard can be invoked by using tab Wizards at Network Eagle Bar or by using Wizards menu in the main application menu.

The Change Scheduler wizard is used to setup schedule for serveral checks at a time.

Remove Alerts wizard

General information

The "Delete Alerts" wizard is used for deleting several alerts from many checks.

Comma Separated Values File Dialog

Control elements:

• Select All - check all groups.
• Separator - the character separating values in the file. If you change this character, you should click the Refresh button to refresh the table of values.
• Refresh - refresh the table of values using the data from the file. The previous selection will be cleared.
• Select All - select all values in the current column.
• Clear All - clear the selection in the current column.
• Invert - invert the current selection.
• Sort Items - sort the values of the current column in ascending or descending order.
