Play Sound Alert

General information

This alert can play sound file located on your local or network disk. The audio device installed on your system driver must be able to play this sound file. If it cannot find the specified sound, Play Sound Alert uses the default system event sound entry instead. If alert can find neither the system default entry nor the default sound, it makes no sound.

This alert does not wait until the system finishes playing the sound. The next alert is started immediately.

Alert Settings

Besides the standard alert settings, the following settings are available:

Sound File - The path to the sound file that should be played.

Use the "Test" button to check whether the sound file can be played on your computer or not.
