Check Security

General information

You can set a check to be launch under another user's account, not the one the application or the service is launched under. If you launch the application under Windows NT or Windows 2000, the user under whose account the application is launched should have the privilege "Act as part of the operating system". If the user does not have such a privilege, set it and restart the system.

How To

To specify another user's account, select the Security page in the Edit Check dialog box and enter the username, its domain (if it is an NT domain user), and its password.

Note

If you set an external command check to be launched under another user's account, the external command will also be launched under that user's account. In this case the user under whose account the application is launched should have the privileges "Act as part of the operating system", "Replace a process level token" and "Increase quotas". If the user does not have such privileges, set them and restart the system.
