Check Schedule

General information

You can specify the periods for your checks to be started and stopped periods in the Edit Check dialog box.

How it works

Example1: Suppose you restart your server every day from 2:00 PM till 2:15 PM. Then you should set the following period: select all days of the month in the Days of the Month list or all days of the week in the Days of the Week list and the time interval from 2:00 PM till 2:15 PM, select the check state - stopped. Then, from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM every day of each month the check will be in the stopped state, i.e. no checks will be carried out.

Example2: You need to check the service when you are absent from your workplace, i.e. on week-days from 1:00 AM till 8:00 AM and from 6:00 PM till 12:59 PM, and also at wekends. To do it, you should set three periods. The first period: select the days of the week from Monday to Friday inclusive in the Days of the Week list, and the time interval from 1:00 AM till 8:00 AM, the second period: similarly to the previous period, select days of the week from Monday to Friday inclusive in the Days of the Week list, but set the time interval from 6:00 PM till 12:59 ÐÌ, and at last the third period: select Sunday and Saturday in the Days of the Week list and set the time interval from 1:00 AM till 12:59 PM. Then select the check state - started.

Time Setting

Select the Scheduler tab in the Edit Check dialog box. Here you should select the check state (started or stopped) which is specified as one for all periods, i.e. it is impossible to select the started state for one period and the stopped state for another period. To create a new period, click the "Add…" button, to edit an already existing period, select it in the list and press the "Edit..." button or just double-click the period. You can set the necessary time interval during which the check will be in the selected state in the corresponding dialog box. Selecting days, you should take into account that days of the week and days of the month you select will be used together, i.e. if you select such days of the week as Monday, Tuesday and the dates from the 10th till the 20th, the check will be set to the selected state in the given time interval every Monday, Tuesday and on all dates from the 10th till the 20th of the selected months.

While selecting months and days, you can select or clear several items at a time. In order to select all, clear the selection or invert it you can use the buttons to the right of the lists.
