IBM Drawing Characters

IBM drawing characters in the upper ASCII range (128-255) are commonly used to draw lines and boxes, single and double line borders, shaded characters etc. Many devices (eg printers, non-IBM computers etc) do not support the display of these characters.

This filter converts them to standard ASCII characters (+, - and |) that all computers can display.
