Shortcuts
There are many keyboard shortcuts you can use with GetGo. You can use GetGo keyboard shortcuts when you are using Internet Explorer and shortcuts directly from the Main window in GetGo.
Shortcuts when using Internet Explorer
- Ignore URL (Ctrl + Click)
To bypass using GetGo Download Manager for a donwload, press and hold down the Ctrl key as you click the item in Internet Explorer.
Shortcuts when using GetGo Download Manager
- Help (F1)
Press F1 to display this help file.
- New Download (Ctrl + N)
To bring up the New URL Dialog box so you can manually enter a URL for downloading.
- New Batch Download (Ctrl + Shift + N)
To bring up the Batch URL Dialog box so you can manually enter a batch job of URLs to download.
- Start Downloads (Ctrl + S)
To enqueue or start any selected downloads.
- Stop Downloads (Ctrl + Shift + S)
To dequeue or stop any selected downloads.
- Delete (Del)
To delete any selected items. If the item is in the completed downloads view, you may be prompted to delete the file on disk. If the item is currently being downloaded, it is removed from the database.
- Open Downloads Folder (Alt + D)
To open the default downloads folder.
- Check for update (Alt + U)
To check if a newer version of GetGo Download Manager is available.
- GetGo Homepage (Ctrl + H)
To link to the GetGo Download Manager web site.
- Show/Hide Details View (Ctrl + D)
To show or hide the Details view pane. (*** Is this accurate ***)
- Show/Hide Bandwidth View (Ctrl + B)
To show or hide the bandwidth view pane.
- Show/Hide Toolbar (Ctrl + T)
To show or hide the toolbar.
- Show GetGo (Alt + S)
To show GetGo Download Manager and make it the topmost window on your desktop.
- Show/Hide Status Bar (Ctrl + Shift + B)
To show or hide the status bar.
