Drop Window

The Drop window is small window that you can use to quickly begin a download. You can click it and drag it to any position on your screen.

The Drop window, as seen here, is small and somewhat transparent. It will stay on top and visible whenever you open or switch to an application window or an Internet browser.

To hide the Drop window, do one of the following:

• Right-click the Drop window or the GetGo system tray icon and deselect Drop window.
• In the Main window, click View | Drop window

To display the Drop window:

• Right-click the GetGo system tray icon and select Drop window.
• In the Main window, click View | Drop window

To begin a download:

• In Internet Explorer, locate the link you want to download.
• Click the link and drag it to the Drop window.
• In the New Download dialog, fill in the properties as desired and click OK.
• During a download the Drop window will display your computer bandwidth usage.

Command Features

You can right-click on the Drop window and choose from several commands including accessing your options, starting or stopping downloads, displaying the Main window, and exiting the program.
