Downloading

There are several ways to begin downloading files. GetGo can automatically intercede when you click a link in your web browser depending on how you set your options. You can also manually begin a download as well.

You can download in one of the following ways:

• From the The Drop Window.
• From the GetGo Internet Toolbar using the Download button or by dragging a link to the GetGo target button.
• From the New Downloads dialog box when using the New button in the Main Window as described here.

• From the Main window, click the New button.
• Enter the New Download dialog properties.
• Click the OK button.

During A Download

After you have begun a download you can choose to stop the download and you can restart it at a later time.

To stop a download in progress:

• Select the Download Jobs folder in the Downloads pane.
• Select the download job in the Main List pane.
• Do one of the following:
  • Click the Stop button.
    
  • Right click and select Stop and select one of the pull out commands.
    
  • Click Tools | Stop and select one of the pull out commands.

To restart a download:

• Select the Download Jobs folder in the Downloads pane.
• Select the download job in the Main List pane.
• Do one of the following:
  • Click the Start button.
    
  • Right click and select Start and select one of the pull out commands.
    
  • Click Tools | Start and select one of the pull out commands.
